The Westmead Institute for Medical Research is celebrating over two decades of research excellence with our 21st Birthday Gala Dinner. Join us on Saturday 26 May and help us celebrate our past and look towards our future.
Enjoy an exquisite three-course meal, beverages and entertainment at the beautiful Oatlands House, located in five acres of manicured gardens.
The event will feature a raffle and auction with fabulous prizes. All funds raised will go towards the purchase of new genomics equipment, which will help researchers across a range of disciplines – including cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease – to understand how our genes and DNA affect disease.
Genomics can help predict who is at risk of developing a disease, diagnose diseases faster and more accurately, and lead to personalised medicine, where treatments are tailored to individual patients to achieve the best possible result.
